Use the practice online system for:

Medical requests for help

  • Advice and guidance, or appointments, regarding new conditions, exiting conditions, follow-up, query relating to an existing medication.

Admin requests

  • Fit note/sick notes.
  • Test results.
  • Doctors letter/report for example insurance.
  • Medication request, reviews and non repeat prescription requests.
  • Other admin request – for example cancel appointment, make a subject access request.

Setting up an NHS account

To set up your NHS account for the first time, you will need to set up an NHS login. Read about how to set up NHS login (nhs.uk).

Once you have set up your NHS login, you can log in to your NHS account or download the NHS App onto your phone.

Use your NHS App for:

  • Managing repeat prescriptions
  • Self book First Contact Physio appointments at your surgery
  • Accessing health information in your medical record
  • Viewing test results ordered by your practice clinical team (If already viewed by GP)
  • In-app notification messages from GP surgery
  • Managing Hospital referrals and appointments
  • Viewing average waiting times for hospital appointments
  • register your organ donation decision
  • choose how the NHS uses your data
  • view your NHS number
  • use NHS 111 online to answer questions and get instant advice or medical help near you
