Cervical screening (Smear)

Cervical screening (a smear test) is a test to check the health of the cervix and help prevent cervical cancer. It's offered to women and people with a cervix aged 25 to 64.

Patients can make an appointment for a smear test by telephone or in person.
From time to time you may receive a letter or SMS inviting you to attend for a smear test.
Please make every effort to attend when an appointment is offered.
