We are pleased to announce that from the 28th of February, we will operate a new patient online contact system via Systmconnect.
The online contact system will complete our practice move to the NHS England recommended Modern General Practice Access model aimed at improving accessibility to Primary Care services.

The main aims are:
– Fair access for patients irrespective of contact route (front desk, phone, online).
– Patients receive appropriate appointments with an appropriate health care professional at an appropriate time, or advice or signposting to appropriate services or support.
– Maximize online tools and to meet our NHS England contractual requirement.
– Right clinician first time from our limited resource pool.
– Streamlines the patient flow within the practice and makes the process more organised and efficient.
– Access wherever and whenever you want from any device. Unlike a telephone call, you can complete an online request form at a pace that suits you.
– You may no longer need to queue at 8am for an appointment.

For all urgent and non-urgent queries, patients should submit an online form from Friday the 28th of February 2025.
Those without internet access or non-digital please continue contacting us in the same way and our trained care navigation team will assist you and submit that online request on your behalf.
This will be accessible during normal surgery hours (except weekends and bank holidays).

If we reach an unsafe level of forms queuing the practice may switch this service off temporally. If this happens patients will need to contact Out of Hours or NHS 111 for advice on urgent health-related queries. If your query is not urgent, you can use the online form again from 8am the next surgery working day.

This has already been proven to be a success in many practices across England and Luton.
